1. The CFC-Fixtures don’t warp or grow over time. The forms will remain stable, and they are a reliable place to hold parts like gears or pinions for the best results in the heat treatment process.
2. CFC-Fixtures are chemically inert. They don’t carburize, etc. But, be careful with too much of oxygen. Ask us!
3. The CFC materials have a very low C.T.E. value, which means that they don’t change their dimensions in the heat, including the quenching, which is oil quenching in this application.
4. The life cycle costs are much lower than for steel fixtures. Mainly because the life expectancy is around 5 times longer than for steel fixtures.
5. Automation of the handling of the parts and of the Rack components is reliable now. Why? because of point # 3.
